This series contains the control records for the files created by the administrative elements of Headquarters ANZUK Force (AWM207).
The ANZUK administration was the successor to the FARELF
administration with the functions and responsibilities of Headquarters AAF FARELF being passed on to Headquarters ANZUK Force. Headquarters ANZUK Force was structured and operated as an integrated Force Headquarters with adequate legal, financial and administrative staff to command and control all aspects of Force activities. The information contained on the file location record indicates the movement of each file created between the various elements of HQ ANZUK Force and indicates whether a particular file has been destroyed and if so when. From these records it can be assessed whether files which have not been transferred have been destroyed.
