1988-1990 : CSIRO Division of Forestry and Forest Products,

1996-1998 : CSIRO Division of Forest Research
From 2005, CSIRO’s research in forestry and forest products has been conducted within Ensis, a joint venture between the CSIRO and Scion, a Crown Research Institute of New Zealand. Ensis is not part of CSIRO; CSIRO’s interest in Ensis is via its fully owned subsidiary, CSIRO FFP Pty Ltd.
Some forestry research and development is also conducted within several research divisions of the CSIRO in areas including:
- forest system science;
- forest genomics; and
- forest polymers and fibres.
