Two Malayan friends who first met in an Australian home graduated as doctors today at Sydney University on January 28. They were Dr Sivalingam Sinnathamby, of Rantau, Negri Sembilan, and Dr Yit Poh Yap, of Perak. The Malayans were two of 19 Asians who graduated in medicine - a record number for one year at the University. The others came from Singapore, North Borneo, Hong Kong and Burma.
