Function and purpose

These papers relate to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Delegations to the Australian Constitutional Conventions, Sydney (September 1973); Hobart (October 1976); Perth (July 1978) Adelaide (April 1983) and Brisbane (July 1985). In all these conventions the Rt Hon Ian Sinclair participated as a member while at the Australian Constitutional Convention in Canberra (February 1998) he was Chairman.
