Summary heading

Function and purpose

This register records previous, current and subsequent file numbers. The register also contains notations to show if a file has been destroyed or transferred to another department. This register only covers a portion of series A1, ie from 1935/7 - 1938/34000 with gaps. It is a post bolt register with a brown fabric cover and two black corners on front and back covers. The sections for the different years are in no particular order. In 1988 the ACR Regional Office's reprographic Section produced microfilm of the series.
