The series consists of an unregistered file containing copies of correspondence relating to alleged Japanese atrocities in New Guinea during the latter part of World War II.

The file cover is a brown manilla and the file title is written on a sticker placed in the bottom right hand corner of the file.

The papers inside the file are held in two further manilla folders.

Papers in the first are dated 1944, the second 1945.

Some papers appear to be copies of stories written by war correspondents.
