This series consists of four volumes, each containing folders of minutes  of Cabinet meetings. Most are typed and appear to be copies awaiting Major Marr's signature (Major Marr acted as Secretary to Cabinet in this period, non-ministers not being allowed attend Cabinet meetings). There are also some handwritten drafts presumably by Major Marr. A folder in volume 1 is labelled "Cabinet - Major Marr's Minutes". Another folder, in volume 2, is labelled : "Minutes to be signed by Major Marr ....". Copies of these minutes,authenticated by his initials "CWCM" appears in CRS A2694.
The latter two volumes appear to cover a gap in the main series, CRS A2694, in containing minutes and submissions for the period April-December 1934.
Minutes of meetings are arranged chronologically within each volume. Volume 1 covers Jan. 1932 - Dec. 1933; volume 2 covers Jan. - April 1934; volume 3 covers May - June 1934; volume 4 covers July - Dec 1934. The folders generally contain copies of agenda papers and submissions as well as minutes.
The copies held by Australian Archives are stored in "Visidex" folders.
