The items in this series relate to the activities the Italian community within New South Wales during World War II. The information was gathered by the Security Service of NSW during the course of investigations assessing members of the Italian community for internment. Information includes extracts from fascist publications, a minute book from the Italian Club, financial statements and correspondence relating to the "Fascio Luigi Platania", statements by internees and translations of letters found in the possession of internees.
Also included in the series are two copies of an "Italian General File". This is a general file compiled by the Security Service to provide general information on Italian fascist organisations in Australia. An index to this file is included in the series.
