Description of series:
Roneoed copies of transcripts of evidence given before the Royal Commission re Proposal to erect certain additions to the General Post Office, Sydney. Extant copies cover the period 8 June to 11 July 1939. Hearings were held in Sydney on 8 and 9 June, 19 to 29 June, and 3 to 13 July 1939; and in Canberra between 13 and 17 June 1939.

The series also contains several exhibits tendered to the Commission, and the report of the Commissioner, the Honourable Allan Victor Maxwell, a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, dated 25 July 1939.
