Description of series:
Registered and jacketed files containing papers and documents relating to each Bankrupt. Documents relate to statement of affairs of Bankrupt, public examination, seizure and sale of goods and property of Bankrupt, and final disposal in accordance with Court Orders. Jacket is titled "Estate of (Name of Bankrupt)" and contains schedule of proceedings. Documents are separated within the jacket into folders titled "File of Papers - Subject - ie, Proofs, Affidavits, etc. including folder of Correspondence". Chief documents include affidavit verifying Statement of Affairs, Proofs, Procedures, Proxies, Committal Applications, Sequestration Order, etc.
