Series note

This series consists of applications for assisted passage, medical and x-ray examination forms and correspondence. Included are records relating to migrant children for the Big Brother Movement, the Fairbridge Children’s Society, and Dr Barnardo’s Childrens Party. The records consist of groups of miscellaneous papers, documents and nominal rolls pertaining to each ship arriving at the Port of Sydney. Each group represents one ship and its size depends on number of assisted migrants arriving on each ship. Each group commences with a Nominal Roll of migrants and then individual papers for each family group or individual.
