Description of series:
Under the provisions of the CRTS Scheme selected trainees were placed with employers in various trades and paid the full award wage, the difference between this and their actual proficiency value being furnished by the Commonwealth Government during the period of their training. These files consist of correspondence with the employer describing the details of the scheme, and his obligations under it. Includes notification by District Employment Officers of termination of training.
