This series consists, in the main, of passenger lists and
crew lists of shipping arriving at the Port of Hobart.
Also included with the series a number of miscellaneous
shipping documents such as cargo manifests.  The documents
are originals that have been prepared either by the Shipping
Companies or under the direction of the various ships' masters.  
The papers are held in chronological order of arrival in Port. The name of each vessel is marked on the papers as well as the original Port of departure.
