This series consists, in the main, of passenger list and
crew lists of shipping departing from the Port of Hobart.
There are also included in the series a number of other
associated shipping documents.  The documents themselves
are originals prepared either by the Shipping Companies
or under the direction of the various ships' masters.
 
The papers are held in chronological order of departure.
The name of each vessel is marked on the papers.
