This index card system is held alphabetically by the trainee's surname within State groups.

BOX 41 contains three state groups separate from the main larger State groups: South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. The cards for the Victorian group are labelled WA but all the trainees were registered in Victoria so this may be an oversight/error on the part of the agency. It is not known why this box contains the cards separated from the main runs of State trainees.
