Alphabetical list of names of German scientists making application for employment in Australia through the Australian Scientific and Technical Mission, with number of file in Division of Industrial Development registry series containing application of person listed and related correspondence. Files related to this register are in the subject class 1/6/- of the Division of Industrial Development registry series (See accession MP 61).
 
History
 
Prior to Transfer: This register was compiled by the Division of Industrial Development of the Ministry of Post-War Reconstruction. In 1950 this Division became part of the new Department of National Development. When the Division was abolished in 1956 most of its records were taken over by the newly-created Department of Trade. It was by this Department that this register was transferred to archival custody.
