Description of series:
Tenders submitted by various companies for services in various divisions (see History prior to transfer). They give particulars of the types of aircraft and equipment which it was proposed to use, number of pilots, timetables of trips, etc. In most cases they are accompanied by appendices containing fuller details of the company, engine and aircraft specifications etc. A number was allocated to each tendering company, and where more than one tender was received from it tenders were given a second number.
