This series is annotated on the packing list and box as 'AID Rejects'. This may be misleading. The series consists of about 50 white ruled cards and is headed on the first card 'Army-Not Army Requirements'. It appears that the Army Inventions Directorate (AID) would write to the Army asking if a given invention was of use. The Army would then indicate to the AID whether it was required. The series appears to have been abandoned after a short period.
