This series consists of 2 bound volumes of black and white photographs of inventions accepted by the Army Inventions Directorate (AID). The second volume is an incomplete duplicate of the first volume. Each volume has pasted inside its front cover an index sheet listing the title of the invention, the number of photographs, the inventor's name, and relevant page number. In a few cases the volumes also contain illustrations and samples of inventions, such as the waterproof map. Each photograph is captioned and includes cross-references to the relevant inventions file (MP76).
