This series consists of blueprints of original drawings (held in MP100/1) done by the Army Inventions Directorate (AID). The blueprints show the invention or aspects of it, the date drawn and name of drawer, and the initials of the final approver. It is likely that drawings were made only of those inventions thought to have some merit and blueprints made from these for the purposes of distribution and further investigation. The series of original drawings in MP100/1 and the blueprints do not duplicate each other entirely.
