The series consists of four items: a mounted drawing of 'Buildings in Sourabaya - destroyed by the shelling of British warships after the Indonesians refused to lay down arms'; a copy thereof; a mounted drawing of 'Sourabaya Docks'; and a mounted drawing of 'Mr. Adam Malik, Indonesian Foreign Minister, playing golf at the Lakes Golf Course, April 1968'. The drawings of Sourabaya are dated 1945. It is not known when or how these came into Mr. Whitlam's possession. A consecutive single number has been imposed by Australian Archives.
