This series consists of records created by The Hon P J Keating during his term as Treasurer.  It includes papers on taxation matters, investment, banking, superannuation and the budget.  Also included are briefs and correspondence from various finance advisors assisting the Treasurer, cabinet papers relating to treasury matters and correspondence from Members of Parliament on fiscal issues.

The records are mainly kept in grey lever-arch folders with the topic written on the spine. Other records such as correspondence and amendment bills are in manila folders with the contents written on the cover.
