This series was created and maintained by the Senior Private Secretary to Hon RJL Hawke while Mr Hawke was Prime Minister of Australia.The material covers a broad range of subjects such as; parliament, family matters, conferences, general and inquiry reports and material on parliamentary figures.The diaries are 1983 and 1984 Kingsgrove diaries and 1985 to 1987 House of Representative diaries. Enclosed with the diaries are a small memo pad and loose paper with ministerial telephone numbers. There is also an undated letter relating to the diaries and four shorthand writing pads. Also included is a media guide to the National Directory of Marginal Seats and personal staff listings and contact numbers.
