Series note
This series consists of one folder containing two articles. The first of these is a single page programming guide for TCN Channel 9's first Australian television broadcast of Sunday 16 September 1956.

The second article is a ten page TCN 9 Programme Opening Night Working Script noted from 'Alex Baz to To All Concerned.' This working script gives a breakdown of the programming guide and also contains the speech delivered by Bruce Gyngell to viewers.

Both items are in type print on A5 size paper and contain some ink and pencil notations. In addition the working script has the name Peter Benardos written at the top of page one.

The articles were transferred to Australian Archives by Bobby Limb on 12 January 1977.
