This series comprises personal record cards for persons who were enrolled to serve as members in the Civil Alien Corp in Western Australia (and Northern Territory). The cards are Form CAC 18, headed 'Civil Aliens Corps Members Employment Record Card' and provide for recording the the following information: CAC No., Identification Card No., surname, christian names, address, trade, allotee-name, address amount of allotment, commencing date, personal equipment and advances (value to be shown), and specimen signature. The lower half of the cards has space for recording service leave and sick leave. On the reverse side of the cards space is allowed for recording information about the member's service record.
The cards are normally found on the member's personal file (see PT143/1), but for some reason these cards have been kept separate. In cases were a member's personal file exists (see PT143/1), the file number (single number) is written on the cards in red coloured pencil.
The records were created by the Allied Works Council, Western Australia which had responsibility over the Civil Alien Corp and the Civil Construction Corp.
