This series comprises general correspondence files relating to the operations of the Allied Works Council, Western Australian Office which was in existence from 1942 to 1945. This incorporated the operations of the Civil Construction Corp and the Civil Alien Corp. The files are controlled by a single number system, partially imposed by Australian Archives as some of the files had already had a number on them. No indexing system appears to be extant for the files.
