This series contains files relating to the administration and functioning of lighthouses and maritime services in Queensland from 1915 to 1961. The files contain general correspondence, circulars, diagrams, instructions, maps, newspaper clippings, plans, reports, returns, etc.  

Matters referred to include allowances, equipment for lighthouses, light buoys, lighthouse supply steamers and vessels, personnel, radio communications, ships surveys and unattended lights and beacons.

This series was converted from BP250/2 - 11 on 4 September 1996. J2826/1 was subsequently destroyed in November the same year.
