This series contains the Lady Elliott Island light station logs. The logs contain standard information recorded four times daily at 6am, 12noon, 6pm and midnight by the resident light keeper. Information recorded is the day, date, hour, wind (direction and force), weather, barometer readings, thermometer readings, record of vessels passing and duties performed during the day.
The series was discontinued in 1988 when the light station was converted to solar power.
