This series consists of a collection of miscellaneous photographs relating to work undertaken at Long Range Weapons Establishment, Salisbury, South Australia and its successor agency Weapons Research Establishment, Salisbury, South Australia.

The collection includes aerial photographs of surveys of Kingoonya, Gilles, Kulgera Scott and Tallaringa, aerial photographs of surveys of unknown locations, rolled aerial survey photographs also of unknown locations, photographs of unknown homesteads or stations, mounted aerial photographs giving name of location and latitude and longitude reference and a detailed aerial survey of unknown location contained in nineteen bundles or boxes.

These photographs have been kept together as a series as they were originally sent to Australian Archives. As little information is known about this series no attempt has been made to impose an artifical system of arrangement or control.
