Function and purpose

This series comprises of two (2) self-indexed bound volumes. The series was apparently maintained at Torrens Island, but there are also references to Keswick and Largs Bay. Volume 2 contains a list of releases from Liverpool camp on back page. Volume 1 gives details as follows: serial number, name, date of internment and remarks. The remarks note release, escape, parole date and alias name. Volume 2 gives details as follows: serial number, surname, christian name, identity sheet, remarks and date sent. The remarks note details such as surrendered voluntarily/not complying, Minister's warrant/refused of parole and failed to report.
