This series consists of original drawings, plans, sketches, elevations and details of various National Estate properties in South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria. Properties included are, for example: post offices, drill halls, rifle ranges, excise officers quarters etc. The series has no apparent order but the consignment list is very comprehensive. The first few pages of the consignment list act as an index. Detail given are year, contents (place name) and no. of drawings. Headings include: date built, folio no., title, drawing no., contents, architects, drawn by, witness, approx. sheet size, drawing paper type, condition, date, contractor.
Works Australia was sold to Gutteridge Haskin and Davey on 29 August 1997. |
