These photographs are from the collection of the Australian Customs Service Library, Sydney.
Only eight photographs are held by National Archives, Sydney. Subjects include the Customs House building at Circular Quay, the first Sydney GPO (etching), and Sydney Cove (West). (Of the 8 photographs, one is a colour duplicate of one of the black and white photographs.)
It is not known when the collection began to be accumulated.  The more recent photographs, however, appear to begin circa 1950.
Reference copies of photographs 1-4 and 6-8 are held in the searchroom of National Archives, Sydney Office.
