This series contains one volume titled 'News Cuttings' and labelled Customs House, containing copies of photographs and drawings of Customs House, at Circular Quay and previous sites in Sydney, with reference dates between the years 1827 and 1970. It also contains typed notes and newspaper cuttings (originals c1962-70, some earlier copies) relating to the Circular Quay building, and details of additions and alterations.  Material concerning a petition raised to save the building from demolition in 1965 is also included.

The item is part of the Australian Customs Service Historical Collection identified as accession no. NSW 00167 on the Collection's inventory database.  Note that some photographs, identified by inventory number, have been removed from the volume.
