This series consists of registered jacketed files arranged by single number with 'N' (New South Wales) prefix. Records include matters such as landing permits, hostel accommodation, assisted migration, assimilation enquiries, migrant education and repatriation. These records also include the general workings of the department such as sponsorship, admission, accommodation procedures; instructions, reports, procedures, policy and procurement.
