The records in this series are photographs and related material used for exhibitions, displays and promotions. The photographs vary in format and size. They are generally of records and facilities within the Australian Archives NSW Regional Office. Most of the photographs are Ciba-chrome colour, backed onto foam-core or 'tuff board'. The series also contains audio and video cassettes used in exhibitions. The series was started to preserve and control material being created and used for exhibitions, held to promote Australian Archives or records held in Archives.
 
Preservation Services, Australian Archives NSW created the records. As the records are used for display it is anticipated records will continue to be created in this series.
