Description of series:
This series contains 3 registers of roneoed page copies, each 13 1/4" x 8 1/4" on which are shown visas issued to Italians for admission into Australia. Each page has headings which show:- Passport No., Name, Visa No., Persons (i.e. number of), validity, type of visa and remarks. The registers are grouped into the different types of visas issued, for example: Non-migrant visas, Assisted Passenger Scheme and the largest group, cancelled visas, visas issued from Rome for a weekly period. All entries are in visa number order.

The registers were damaged during the Brisbane 1974 flood and the covers are swollen and distorted, but the pages are in a fairly stable condition.
