The records in this series are arranged by ship rotation number and chronological order. Where no rotation number was recorded
on the record, National Archives of Australia imposed the rotation number and placed it in square brackets; for example [ROT 427].
The imposed rotation number was not included in the title of the record.

This series contains the Outwards passenger manifest for passenger embarking on vessels departing from Port Adelaide South 
Australia. The manifests identify the name of the ship, port of embarkation, date of departure, signature of the Master of
the ship, passengers surname and initials and port of intended disembarkation. The later forms occassionly include the ticket 
number and passport number of the passenger.
