Function and purpose

This series consists of a single file relating to industrial legislation and in particular the proposed Interstate Commission and to allow the Commonwealth to legislate in industrial matters.

The file contains many signed letters between the Prime Minister, Alfred Deakin and State Premiers about reciprocal legislation in industrial matters.
