Series note |
These cards are indexed under numbered headings arranged
alphabetically. The top section of the card is divided into
three sections for card number [on the left]; the code number [on the right]; and primary and secondary headings [in the
centre portion]. The lower portion gives file title and file
number. A new card is started for each additional secondary
heading. When the Department of the Treasury [II] and Finance were created in December 1976, it was decided to microfiche the index, supply copies to both departments and transfer the index to archival custody.
