Summary heading
Function and purpose
These Record Service Cards were raised for the
National Service Personnel and generally only one posting is recorded on the
cards. They ceased when National
Service Training finished, they have a four digit number followed by the
letters NS. As far as we know all the Cards
are there however we cannot be sure as so many different people have handled
them over the years. The series ran in
the 1950s.
