FUNCTION AND CONTENT

This series consists of bound volumes of outwards correspondence from the Principal Registry in Melbourne.

Each volume contains an alphabetical index in the front and each piece of correspondence contained in the bound volume has been given a consecutive number.

The correspondence varies in format, from handwritten letters to roneoed typewritten copies, each one providing the date, addressee and content of the outwards correspondence.
