FUNCTION AND CONTENT
This series consists of bound letterbooks of outwards correspondence from Registries of the High Court throughout Australia.
Each piece of correspondence contained in the bound volume has been given a consecutive number. From 1968 to 1973, these numbers appear on the spines of the bound volume.
USING THE SERIES
System of Arrangement and Control
From 15/10/1903 to 29/12/1922, the volumes are numbered from 0 to 11.
From 1923 to 1973 the volumes are in chronological order.
Apparently, from 1974, the practice of accumulating outward correspondence from all the Registries into single volumes ceased and each Registry maintained its own system. |
