Descriptive note

This item is listed on the consignment list for A432/30 as AV1975/6378 – Rejection of Budget – Consequences. On investigation by Arrangement and Description, it was found that the item is actually controlled as A1975/6378.

Originally the item consisted of two physical parts:

• An Attorney General’s Department file containing two sets of papers on different file pins; and
• A green vinyl ring binder of related papers labelled ‘Questions arising out of a refusal of Supply by the Senate 1975’.

The file and ring binder were tied together using white lawyer’s tape.

It was decided to register the two sets of papers as separate parts of the file – A1975/6378 [PART 1] (item barcode 9019072) and A1975/6378 [PART 2] (item barcode 5450750). The ring binder was registered as an attachment to the file – A1975/6378 [ATTACHMENT 1] (item barcode 5450749).
