Descriptive note

This item was on display with the cover separate and the first pages of signatures open in ‘Traversing Antarctica – the Australian Experience’ from December 2011 to 10 September 2012 at TMAG and NAA.

The cover was on display in ‘Traversing Antarctica – the Australian Experience’ from 3 November 2012 to 24 February 2013 at WAMM.  There was a facsimile on display for the rest of the exhibition tour.

The original of the open first pages of signatures was on display in ‘Traversing Antarctica – the Australian Experience’ at 14 November 2013 to 2 March 2014 at SAM.   For all other venues from WAMM onwards except SAM a facsimile will be on display.
