TITLE: Immigration - Migrants in the community - Estonian Senior Citizens' Home, Thirlmere - On Sunday, September 10th, 1961, nearly 1000 Estonians and former Estonians attended the laying of the foundation stone for an Estonian Senior Citizens' Home at Thirlmere, NSW. The home, which will cost 13000 Pounds, is to be opened in November of this year. It will accommodate 12. Establishment of the home was the result of initiative taken by the Estonian Relief Committee, which raised 4000 Pounds toward the cost of the building.
