Mr Bolding, from Winterswyk, came to Australia as a bricklayer with a Dutch firm two weeks after marrying Adriane de Jong, of Utrecht. While working as a bricklayer, he built three brick homes in his spare time, mainly at weekends. He sold these at a good profit.
