Descriptive note
This item consists of photographs grouped together on
cardboard pages to form 7 panoramic views of the Torrens Island Quarantine
Station.
The panoramic views are as follows:
Page 1 – Plate A, 360 degree panorama from centre of grassed
square in existing accommodation area.
Page 2 – Plate B, view from junction of Jetty Road with main
north south road through station.
Page 3 – Plate C, view of accommodation area from the south.
Page 4 – Plate D, view of accommodation area from the north.
Page 5 – Plate E, view of cottages, canteen and proposed
laundry area. Plate F, view of proposed
site for foreman assistant’s residence from northwest. HH410.
