Synopsis |
The show started in February 1959 and first hired soon-to-be-compere Johnny O'Keefe as a singer with his band The DeeJays. They were to present the minority 'New Music' part of the show, with Modern Jazz and contemporary hits of the early 50's making up the 'most important' part of the show.
